Mongolian Parliament Chairman Damdin Demberel departed from Ulan Bator on Wednesday morning for Beijing to start his five-day visit to China.
Chinese Ambassador to Mongolia Yu Hongyao saw the Mongolian speaker off at the airport in Ulan Bator.
In an interview with Xinhua on Friday, Demberel said Mongolia will continue to enhance cooperation with China in politics, trade and economy, culture, education and health and will give priority to increasing the actual effects of cooperation.
At the invitation of Wu Bangguo, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China, Demberel will visit China for the first time since taking office earlier this year. After his stay in China, Demberel will travel on to Laos.
