Uruguayan gov't donates water purifiers to China's quake zone

The Uruguayan government has offered 100,000 US dollars worth of water purification systems to China's quake-hit Sichuan Province, according to the Chinese Foreign Ministry.

It was announced at a regular political consultation conference between the two foreign ministries of China and Uruguay.

Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Li Jinzhang expressed thanks for the donation on behalf of Chinese government.
