Premier Wen Jiabao wrapped up his two-day official visit to
Russia and left Moscow for Beijing Tuesday evening.
Russia was the last stop of Wen's six-day four-nation tour,
which also took him to Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Belarus.
During his stay in Russia, Wen met with Russian President
Vladimir Putin, held talks with his Russian counterpart Viktor
Zubkov and attended the closing ceremony for the "Year of China" in
Russia.
The two sides signed a series of agreements, in which China and
Russia vowed to step up bilateral cooperation in the fields of
trade, energy and finance.
The Chinese premier also delivered a speech at a China-Russia
high-level economic forum and held a seminar with Russian
parliamentarians.
Wen arrived in Moscow late Monday after an official visit to
Belarus. Last Friday, he attended the sixth meeting of prime
ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in the Uzbek
capital of Tashkent.
