The Kingdom of Thailand on Monday opened a consular office in
Nanning, capital of south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous
Region.
The office, which will provide visa services to Chinese
applicants going to Thailand for sight-seeing, non-migration
purposes or just for a stopover, will facilitate exchanges between
Guangxi and Thailand.
China and Thailand agreed in 2005 to establish a Thai consular
institution in Nanning.
