Luo Gan, a senior official of the Communist Party of China
(CPC), on Monday called for further exchanges with Mongolia in the
judicial area.
In a meeting with Mongolia's Chief Justice Sodnomdarjaa
Batdelger, Luo said China and Mongolia have been in close contacts
on judicial and legal affairs, vowing to continue efforts with
Mongolia to boost cooperation to this end.
Luo, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of
the CPC Central Committee, said China attaches great importance to
the role of the legal system in its social and economic
development
China will exercise its judicial practice according to its own
circumstances, but at the same time it is ready to learn from other
countries in this regard, said Luo.
Since China and Mongolia established good-neighborly partnership
of mutual trust in 2003 when President Hu Jintao paid a state visit
to Mongolia, the two countries have witnessed smooth development of
bilateral relations and fruitful cooperation in various fields, Luo
added.
Batdelger, who started his visit to China last Friday, said he
expects to learn from and forge closer cooperative ties with
Chinese judicial organs.
