China and Europe should further increase exchanges and
cooperation in public administration, said State Councilor Hua
Jianmin in Beijing Tuesday.
Hua made the remarks when addressing the opening ceremony of the
China-Europe Senior Forum on Government Management .
Hua, who is also secretary-general of the State Council and
president of the Chinese National School of Administration, said
the Chinese government has always attached great importance to the
reform on the administrative system and the innovation in public
administration.
Hua said China and Europe should enhance cooperation in public
administration sphere, in an effort to improve the administration
level of the governments of China and European nations and to
promote the China-Europe relations.
The forum, with attendance of more than 300 officials and
experts from China and 15 EU nations, is cosponsored by the China
National School of Administration and European Institute of Public
Administration.
