Senior leader Jia Qinglin is to pay official goodwill visits to
Vietnam, Indonesia and Malaysia later this month, the National
Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference
(CPPCC) announced Tuesday.
Jia, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of
the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), is to
visit Vietnam from March 20 to 24 at the invitation of the
Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee and the Central
Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF).
Jia, also chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, will visit
Indonesia and Malaysia from March 24 to April 2 at the invitations
of Hidayat Nur Wahid, chairman of the People's Consultative
Assembly of Indonesia (MPR), and of Abdul Hamid Pawanteh, president
of the Dewan Negara (Senate) of Malaysia.
