Macao reported 49 newly confirmed cases of Influenza A/H1N1 on Tuesday, bringing the cumulative number of such cases to 707 so far.

The newly confirmed cases comprised 28 female patients and 21 male patients whose ages ranged from 2 to 45, Macao's Health Bureau said.

Meanwhile, statistics from the Bureau showed that some 22 patients who tested positive for the A/H1N1 virus were still receiving medical treatments at local hospitals, but their health conditions, except for one seriously ill patient, remained stable.
