Hong Kong has confirmed 271 cases of influenza A/H1N1 in the 24 hours to 02:30 p.m. Sunday, bringing the total number of infections to 9,105 in the city, medical authorities said.
A spokesman from the Center of Health Protection said the new cases involved 137 males and 134 females, aged between eight months and 86 years old.
Meanwhile, the city's Hospital Authority said currently 95 confirmed patients are staying in public hospitals for treatment. Among them, 80 are in stable condition, 11 in serious and 4 in critical condition.
