Argentine health authorities confirmed on Tuesday three deaths of the influenza A/H1N1, raising the death toll of the disease to four in South America.
Among the three deaths, two were from Buenos Aires province and another from the capital of Buenos Aires, said Vice Health Minister Carlos Soratti.
Argentina has reported 138 new cases of the flu, bringing Argentina's total to 871, Soratti said Tuesday in a news conference.
On June 9, a 24-year-old Colombian woman died of severe pneumonia derived from the A/H1N1 influenza in a hospital in the south of the capital, Bogota.
