Britain's Health Protection Agency confirmed on Sunday 11 new cases of A/H1N1 flu infections, bringing the total number of cases in the country to 133.

The 11 new confirmed cases in England were six adults and five children from the east Midlands region, London, the southeast region and the west Midlands region. A statement from the Health Protection Agency said four were returning travelers whereas seven were linked to previously confirmed cases.

Of the total 133 cases, 13 were from Scotland, one from Northern Ireland, and 119 from England.

The agency said it's continuing its regular surveillance work throughout the summer. In England the surveillance work includes the collection of date from 3,300 general practitioner surgeries across the country and the testing of patient samples from over 100 surgeries.
