Chen Daoming, a member of the 11th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), is a famous actor known for his flexibility and stability. He has been branded the Emperor of Chinese drama, having starred in all types of dramas and films. His first famous role was in playing China's last Emperor Puyi in the Chinese series Emperor of the Last Generation. He also played the legendry Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) in the TV series Kangxi Dynasty.
During the Second Session of the 11th CPPCC, Chen Daoming put forward a proposal on Internet Law.
"The lewd and violent content of Internet will deeply affect the moral values of adolescents," said Chen Daoming. "If we don't take actions, huge price will be paid in the coming 10 to 20 years, and there will be no instant remedy for it. "
