Li Xiaolin is a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC). She is the 47-year-old daughter of Li Peng – the former premier – who was a visiting scholar at MIT. During CPPCC session last year, Ms. Li suggested streamlining the energy industry and adopting a coal-electricity integration system.
