Chinese Vice-Premier Wu Yi Thursday urged the country to get rid of
the fear of SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome) as efforts
against the disease mounted.
Wu
spoke during the tenth meeting of the National SARS Prevention and
Treatment Headquarters held in Beijing.
She also warned of the danger of SARS spreading as a result of
floating population or intensely crowded conditions.
China was facing a critical moment in the anti-SARS fight and the
situation was complicated, which required more vigilance and
effort, Wu said.
