Supervision Team Sent to Tibet to Help SARS Prevention Campaign

The State Council dispatched its fifth SARS prevention supervision team to southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region to help local authorities.

To date, the Tibet Autonomous Region is still free from any SARS cases.

Leaders of the central committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the State Council have recommended the transport of medicines and medical facilities to Tibet and urged further efforts towards SARS prevention.
