HA Chief Executive Returns to Work After SARS Recovery

William Ho Shiu-wei, chief executive of Hong Kong Hospital Authority (HA), has recovered from SARS after clinical assessment and returned to work Wednesday morning, said HA in a statement.

On resumption of his duties, Ho pledged his full devotion to tackle all the big challenges that lie ahead.

He also expressed his deepest appreciation to all HA staff who have been fighting against the disease within the past two months.

Ho was found to have contracted SARS last month.
