1.
Floor, walls, doors and windows: spray with 0.2 to 0.5%
Acidum Peroxyaceticum (peroxy acetic acid, acetylhydroperoxide)
solution or 500mg/L-1,000mg/L DBDHM solution or 1,000mg/Ltr to
2,000mg/Ltr effective chlorine or chlorine disinfectant solution.
The solution can be absorbed by earth wall: 150ml/m
2 to
300 ml/m
2. For cement, wood and lime walls it is 100
ml/m
3. The disinfectant solution sprayed on various
walls mentioned above cannot surpass the volume which can be
absorbed by them. For floor disinfection, spray once from outside
to inside with a volume of 200 ml/m2 to 300 ml/m
2. After
indoor disinfection, spray again from inside to outside. The above
mentioned-measures should last no less than 60 minutes.
2.
Atmosphere: after sealing the house, put 15% peroxy acetic
acid solution per cubic meter 7ml (lg/m3) in a porcelain
or glass instrument and fumigate for 2 hours, then open doors and
windows for ventilation; or disinfect by spraying with 2% peroxy
acetic acid solution (8ml/m3). The operation should last
between 30 to 60 minutes.
3.
Clothes, bedding: the heat and wetness resisting textiles
can be disinfected by boiling for 30 minutes or disinfected by
circulating vapor for 30 minutes, or soaked in 250mg/l to 500mg/l
effective chlorine or chlorine disinfectant solution for 30
minutes; sweaters, blankets, bedding, chemical fibers and linen
products, which are no heat resisting, can be disinfected by
fumigating with peroxy acetic acid. During the fumigating
disinfection, hang up the clothes to be disinfected (don't pile
them up); seal all doors and windows. Take 15% peroxy acetic acid
per cubic meter 7ml (lg/m3) and put into a porcelain or
glass instrument, heat it up and fumigate for one to two hours. Or
put the stuff to be disinfected into an Ethylene Oxide disinfecting
cabinet. Under a temperature of 54 Celsius and comparative 80%
humidity, disinfect with Ethylene Oxide (800mg/L) for four to six
hours; or disinfect with high-pressure vapor.
4.
Excrement and vomit of patients: for thin excrement and
vomit, add bleaching powder 50g per 1,000ml or 20,000mg/L effective
chlorine or chlorine disinfectant solution 2,000ml, mix them up and
deposit for two hours; for urine, add 5g dry bleaching powder per
1,000ml or 1.5g calcium hypochlorite or 10,000mg/L effective
chlorine or chlorine disinfectant solution 100ml, and mix them up
and deposit for two hours. Shaped excrement cannot be disinfected
by bleaching powder. Add 20% bleaching powder emulsion (containing
5% chlorine), or double 50,000mg/L effective chlorine or chlorine
disinfectant solution into one excrement, mix and deposit for 2
hours.
5.
Dishware: disinfect by boiling for 15 or 30 minutes (would
be the first choice) or disinfect with circulating vapor for 30
minutes, or soak in 1.5% peroxy acetic acid solution or 250mg/L to
500mg/L DBDHM solution or 250mg/L to 500mg/L effective chlorine or
chlorine disinfectant solution for 30 minutes and then clean them
up with fresh water.
6.
Food: melons, fruits and vegetable should be soaked in 0.2%
to 0.5% peroxy acetic acid solution for 10 minutes; or washed with
12mg/L ozone water for 60 to 90 minutes. Leftovers of patients
should not be eaten again. Handle by boiling for 30 minutes or
soaked in 20% bleaching power emulsion or 50,000mg/L effective
chlorine or chlorine disinfectant solution for two hours, or burn
them.
7.
Containers of excrement or vomit: soaked in 2% bleaching
powder clearing fluid (containing 5,000 mg/L effective chlorine) or
5,000mg/L effective chlorine or chlorine disinfectant solution or
0.5 peroxy acetic acid solution for 30 minutes. The disinfectant
must cover the instruments.
8.
Household stuff and furniture: disinfect by soaking,
spraying or scrubbing and washing with 0.2% to 0.5% peroxy acetic
acid solution or 1,000mg /L to 2,000mg/L effective chlorine or
chlorine disinfecting solution.
9.
Hands and skin: apply and rub with 0.54% iodophor solution
(containing 5,000 mg/L effective iodine) or 0.5% Chlorhexidine
solution for one to three minutes. Or soaked in 75% ethanol or 0.1%
Benzalkonium Bromide for one to three minutes. If necessary, soak
in 0.2% peroxy acetic acid solution or apply and rub with 0.2%
peroxy acetic acid tampon and gauze.
10. Corpse of patient: wrap tightly with wet clothing which
has been soaked in 0.5% peroxy acetic acid solution and cremate as
soon as possible.
11. Transportation tools: for outside and inside surface of
vehicles and vessels, spray 0.5% peroxy acetic acid solution or
10,000mg/L effective chlorine or chlorine disinfectant solution on
the their surface till they get wet and last for 60 minutes. Seal
the room, disinfect by fumigating with peroxy acetic acid solution.
For those polluted by virus propagation, spray with 15% peroxy
acetic acid solution per cubic meter 7ml (lg/m3). The
sealed room can also be disinfected by spraying with 2% peroxy
acetic acid solution; the volume is 8ml/m3 and lasts for
60 minutes.
12. Garbage: flammable materials must be burned as much as
possible, or spray 10,000mg/L effective chlorine or chlorine
disinfectant solution and last for 60 minutes and bury deeply after
disinfection.
