The chemical defense corps[Chinanew.com.cn]

The chemical defense corps, responsible for chemical defense operations, is composed of chemical defense, flame-throwing and smoke-generating units. They carry out the implementation of chemical and radiation detection, as well as provide protection for the troops and the people against nuclear, chemical and biological weapons attack, including from nuclear or chemical hazards that may cause sub-health conditions.
