China's only icebreaker, the Xue Long, leaves Shanghai yesterday for its 25th Antarctica expedition with a mission to set up the country's third scientific research station near the South Pole. The station be erected at Dome Argus, the highest ice feature in Antarctica, at 4,093 meters above sea level.
