There are seven zoos and breeding centers in China housing giant pandas.

Beijing Zoo, Beijing
Home rather surprisingly to just one male panda, Gu Gu, who doesn’t like people straying into his enclosure!
Bifengxia Panda Base, Ya'an, Sichuan
Home to U.S. born giant pandas Mei Sheng (M), Hua Mei (F), Tai Shan (M), Su Lin (F), and Zhen Zhen (F).
Chengdu Panda Research Base

The Panda Research Base in Chengdu carries out valuable breeding research and focuses on conservation and education.

There are around 62 captive giant pandas living here as well as red pandas and other endangered animals, which can be visited on a China holiday.

Wolong National Nature Reserve

Travel to Wolong to see more than 150 giant pandas in their natural habitat in an area of around 200,000 hectares.

Taipei Zoo, Taipei, Taiwan
There are two giant pandas, Tuan Tuan and Yuan Yuan, a male and female pair.
Ocean Park, Hong Kong
Home to Jia Jia (F), An An (M), Le Le (M), and Ying Ying (F).
Macao
Kaikai and Xinxin were sent to Macao by China's central government from Chengdu Breeding Base of Giant Panda in southwest China's Sichuan Province.
