Goni brings heavy rain; Morakot strengthens into typhoon

Meteorologists also said another tropical storm, Morakot, which formed on the west Pacific Ocean Tuesday morning, was now moving at 20 km per hour northwestward. [Lu Hanxin/Xinhua]
