The agreement is effective immediately.
The two sides will share market information, and BlueNext will provide training to its Chinese counterpart.
"The cooperation means that Chinese shares in the projects of the Clean Development Mechanism could have more international buyers," said Mei Dewen, general manager of the CBEE.
The mechanism is an arrangement under the Kyoto Protocol, and it is intended to give developed countries an alternative to more expensive emission reduction. Developing countries that participate gain financial and technical support.
BlueNext is a leading exchange for spot carbon transactions. The CBEE is China's first state-level exchange platform for environmental rights.
