The cubs and the mother are now in good health. Manchurian tigers are the largest tigers in the world and an adult tiger can reach more than three meters long.

The zoo imported five purebred Manchurian tigers - three females and two males - from Harbin in Northeast China's Heilongjiang province in January.

The other two female tigers are also pregnant and are expected to deliver within the month. The zoo has built a new 500-sq-m home for the Manchurian tigers.
