Shanghai gov't to put lights out

The Shanghai municipal government will join the worldwide "one-hour lights out" activity on Saturday as part of a call to fight climate change.

Its office buildings will switch off their lights at 8:30pm. Local companies, schools and individuals have also been asked to join the World Wildlife Fund's Earth Hour initiative.
