An earthquake with magnitude of 6. 2 struck eastern parts of Indonesia on Friday morning, but no report of damage or casualty, meteorology agency said in Jakarta.
The quake jolted at 03:16 Jakarta time (2003 GMT) with the epicenter at 185 kilometers northeast Saumlaki town of Maluku province and at 146 kilometers under sea bed, an official of the agency told Xinhua.
There were no damages caused by the quake as its shakes was not felt on land, the official said.
