An earthquake measuring 5.9 degree on Richter scale hit Manokwari in West Papua province of Indonesia on Thursday morning, the Indonesian meteorology and geophysics agency (BMG) reported.
The quake happened at 06:38 local time (2138 GMT on Wednesday), with the epicenter located at between 0.63 degrees southern latitude and 133.09 degrees eastern longitude at a depth of 20 km, or 111 km northwest of Manokwari.
There was no immediate report of casualties or damage so far.
Before that, Manokwari was hit by a 7.6-magnititute earthquake on Sunday, which killed at least four people.
