Animal lover rents apartment for her 4 dogs
Adjust font size:

A woman has been secretly looking after homeless dogs for more than four years in Zhengzhou, capital of Henan province.

To offer a better home for the dogs she took in from the street, Bai has rented a single room and rides there about 10 minutes by bike each day to feed and clean the pooches.

She currently pays about 200 yuan (US$30) a month for rent, plus bills for electricity and water.

Bai said she rents the room because neither her husband nor her parents like animals.

Hoping the dogs can live a better life, Bai prays some other animal lovers will adopt her best friends.
