A total of 110 heads of state or government will come to Copenhagen to attend the UN Climate Change Conference next week, Danish Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen said on Monday.
"Their presence reflects an unprecedented mobilization of political determination to combat climate change," Rasmussen told delegates to the conference as it opened in the Danish capital, where over the next two weeks negotiators from around the globe will try to seal a deal to curb global warming.
"Global warming knows no borders... We are here today because we are all committed to action," he said.
