At least one people was killed and dozens were reportedly missing following a landslide that buried some 50 houses in northwestern Colombia, local media reported on Sunday.

One body has been recovered and some 40 to 50 people are believed missing by Sunday's landslide in the Medellin suburb of Bello, Antioquia state emergency management director John Rendon was quoted as saying.

Earlier reports said some 200 people may be buried by the landslide triggered by heavy rains in the region.
