Hong Kong heart-throb Shawn Yue is rising to fame quickly with hard work and talent.
He started out as a model and in 2001 made his film debut in an independent film called "Leaving Sorrowfully." Yue then won acclaim after he took on a variety of roles in the "Internal Affairs" trilogy,"Initial D" and "Isabella."
Now Yue and mainland actor Chen Kun are in Shanghai to promote the latest Hong Kong police film "Playboy Cops" directed by Jingle Ma.
In this action-packed film, an extremely brutal armed robbery case brings two very unusual young detectives together.
Director Ma says Yue's acting is very good. And, as a bonus, not only is he tall and handsome, but his knowledge of martial arts helps."
"This is the fifth time I have played a cop," Yue said. "But this time the cop is very rich and likes to show off."
