China's Shenzhen Airlines set up a stewardess orchestra on
Wednesday.
The Information Times reports it is the first ever
stewardess orchestra in China. Shenzhen Airlines says their
stewardess orchestra has been designed to better serve ceremony
occasions of its VIP customers.
At Wednesday's official founding ceremony, the stewardess band
"shocked" their airlines' colleagues by playing wonderful pieces of
domestic and foreign music, including "The Royal March" and "Song
And Smile".
The 48 members of the orchestra are all newly recruited
stewardesses in 2007. The number is expected to increase to
sixty.
Shenzhen Airlines says their orchestra will also stage
performances in their spare time.
