Renowned Chinese mainland Director Feng Xiaogang Wednesday
unveiled eight short films he has made to help publicise civilised
behaviour in public places during the upcoming Beijing Olympic
Games.
The short films, each two to three minutes long, will be
continuously screened online, Star Daily reported on Thursday.
Showbiz celebrities including Feng's long-time partner Ge You,
singers Jane Zhang, or Zhang Liangying, Yang Kun, Pop band Yu Quan,
actors Zhou Xun, Alec Su (Su Youpeng) and Ruby Lin (Lin Xinru) have
starred in the films.
The "Banquet" director produced the series films for free,
saying that the Beijing Olympics is a good opportunity to show the
world the new image of Beijing, as well as the good image of
Beijing citizens. He hoped the short films can teach the public how
to do their bits to serve during the "big" event.
One of China's most successful directors of commercial films,
Feng Xiaogang is best known for his black comedies.
