Tickets for Hong Kong singer-actor Jacky Cheung's September
concert in Beijing have almost sold out as of Monday, the first day
when organizers officially release its tickets. Organizers warn
fans to be cautious about fake tickets.
Jacky Cheung's concert will be on stage in the Fengtai Sports
Center of Beijing on September 30. Even compared with his Guangzhou
concert, in which tickets were sold out two days after the start of
official ticket selling, this time sets a new record. Tickets have
been so fully booked that very few are available even at the first
official selling time.
According to the organizers, the final statistics of ticket
sales are still unknown, however, they confirmed that those tickets
with the highest and lowest prices were all sold out. There might
be some middle-priced ones remaining, but not that many.
Despite the craze from Jacky's fans, the concert will be
performed in Beijing only once due to Jacky's busy schedule. That
means only 20,000 fans would be able to enjoy the concert
on-site.
To prevent counterfeit tickets flowing into the market, advanced
anti-counterfeit technologies have been employed to ensure ticket
security. Organizers at the same time warn fans to take caution and
purchase tickets through right channels, as many ticket scalpers or
some illegal people might attempt to cash in on this golden
opportunity.
Reportedly, limited amounts of souvenirs, designed by famous
Hong Kong director Ge Minhui, for this concert will be distributed
at the concert. The souvenirs include Swarovski crystal caps,
T-shirts and notebooks.
