The "2007 Happy Boy" singing competition will air its final
battle on Friday evening, with controversial Yang Erche Namu not in
the judge's chair.
An unprecedented group of ten judges will be present at Friday's
competition, including famous singers, music producers and radio
DJs.
However, always conspicuous Yang Erche Namu will be absent
because she is reluctant to watch the final struggle between her
two favorite performers, Chen Chusheng and Su Xing, Yang said on
the website enorth.com.cn on Thursday.
Yang becomes very well-known during the contest as she bickered
with two other regular judges, rock veteran Zheng Jun and music
producer Tino Bao. She was also singled out for her daring style
and excessively enthusiastic behavior.
It's widely presumed that Hunan Satellite TV Station is trying
to avoid another potential on-air quarrel involving the feisty
protagonist.
According to the report, former contestants of the final top 13
Happy Boys will return to the stage and sing along with finalists
Chen Chusheng and Su Xing.
Meanwhile, Taiwan love song prince Qi Qin and popular pop duo Yu
Quan are confirmed as the guest performers of the night.
