The long - anticipated movie, Xin Su Shi Jian, or The
Shinjuku Incident, will start shooting in this November, the
Shanghai Youth Daily reported.
The movie represents the first time that Hong Kong director Yee
Tung-Shing will work with action movie legend Jackie Chan. And the
film may also involve Chan's son, Jaycee.
Yee says that he had spent 10 years preparing the movie and
postponed another year so that Jackie Chan could take part. Chan
will play a Chinese living in Japan who originally came to the
country as a student. This time, Yee hopes Chan can do a lot less
kicking and try more emotional things.
Besides Jackie Chan, Hong Kong heartthrob Daniel Wu will also be
in the cast.
