Taiwan's richest man Terry Guo, or Guo Taimin, chairman of Hon Hai
Group, watched his daughter marry her long-time boyfriend on
Thursday.
The luxurious wedding banquet was held at the Grand Hyatt
Taipei, with heavyweights from Taiwan's high-tech sector attending
the party as guests.
The tycoon himself served as the bride's witness.
It's reported that Terry Guo gifted the newlyweds a 180 million
yuan house, together with 30 million yuan's worth of diamond
jewellery.
The bride, Guo Hsiao-ling, aged 31, graduated from the
University of California, Berkeley, as a major in economic and
financial management. The bridegroom, Tsao Shih-chieh, aged 30,
majored in electrical engineering and computer science at the
University of California, Irvine.
