Shanghai's classical music fans are in for a treat on May 5,
when three musicians from the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra will
perform at Shanghai Oriental Art Center.
Stefan Jezierski (French horn), Tamas Velenczei (trumpet) and
Olaf Ott (trombone) are set to play with the Shanghai Philharmonic
Orchestra. It will be the first time a Chinese orchestra will share
the stage with members of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.
The performance is one of the hottest attractions in the line up
for this year's Shanghai Spring International Music Festival, which
opens on Saturday.
The Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra last played in Shanghai in
2005.
