The Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense has released the "11th Five-Year" plan for the country's aerospace program.
The plan has been approved by the State Council. It identifies nine major tasks for China's aerospace industry, including upgrading its innovating ability, strengthening research, and enhancing international cooperation. The Commission says China's moon-probing project is speeding ahead.
The country is also developing a new generation of rockets with large carrying capacities to support its space program.
