Yong Mausoleum to Applye for World Culture Heritage

Xinbin Man Autonomous County, Liaoning Province, is making full preparations as the Yong Mausoleum applies for the world culture heritage so that the application may get success.

The Yong Mausoleum in the Qing Dynasty is an ancient tomb for family of Ai'xinjueluo, the royalty of the Qing Dynasty. The mausoleum, together with the Fu Mausoleum and the Zhao Mausoleum, applied for the world culture heritage three years ago. During this period, all preliminary works have been undergoing smoothly. Xinbin Man Autonomous County has spent half a year to make a plan about the Yong Mausoleum protection. To settle the archives and culture relics well, the county carried out a wide investigation and collection. Over 600 pieces of video, audio and version information have been collected.

In addition, the government invested one million yuan to repair the mausoleum and turned it into its original outlook. The outlook now reaches the cultural relics office's requirements. The county last year moved a hospital and a forestry centre out of the mausoleum region within less than half a year. 75 households also moved out within less than one month. The government also afforested and beautified the environment around the mausoleum. Thanks to these efforts, the Yong Mausoleum looks simply and unsophisticated. Experts from the United States gave a full confirmation to it during the check activity last September.
