The Shenzhen branch of China Southern Airlines (CSA) is offering a bargain rate for flights, tourist attractions and a hotel in a travel package to Guilin in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region through June 30. Travelers can save as much as 700 yuan.
The package includes three tourist attractions: a sculpture park, the Crown Cave and a theme park.
"A two-way ticket between Shenzhen and Guilin normally costs 1,320 yuan, and the admission for three popular attractions in Guilin normally costs 110 yuan. Together they are 1,430 yuan. But if you use the package you need to pay only 715 yuan, saving more than 700 yuan," said a CSA spokesperson.
CSA also worked with www.ctrip.com, one of China's largest hotel reservation online services, to secure a low rate at the four-star Guilin Bravo Hotel where a standard room will cost 408 yuan instead of 1,050.
The bargain flights are not limited to CSA or Guilin. Until June 30 Shenzhen Airlines will offer 50-yuan tickets to Guilin, Haikou and Wuyi Mountain for travelers who buy 20 percent discount tickets to 13 destinations -- Shanghai, Beijing, Tianjin, Jinan, Qingdao, Dalian, Shenyang, Harbin, Changchun, Lanzhou, Yinchuan, Urumqi and Xi'an. With their tickets and boarding cards to any of the 13 cities, travelers are eligible to get the 50-yuan tickets at the Shenzhen Airlines ticket centers. The 50-yuan tickets will remain valid until July 10.
