Jiangxi Province in east China will begin regular flights to Singapore on April 28, the first international air route ever launched in the province.
Boeing 757 passenger planes will be used for the route with a stopover in Guangzhou, capital of south China' Guangdong Province. Three flights will be offered per week each way.
Nanchang has opened air links with 19 cities nationwide, offering 35 flights a week to Shanghai.
The number of passengers using Changbei Airport reached 400,000during the first quarter of this year, and is expected to record 1.5 million for the whole of the year.
