Solutions To Beijing's Traffic Problems

Ho Hau Zhao, a member of the Beijing Municipal Political Consultative Conference, suggests Beijing alleviate traffic problems by reducing the number of vehicles and encouraging car pooling.

Ho Hau Zhao, who is the elder brother of Edmond Ho Hau Wah, the Chief Executive of Macau Special Administrative Region, recommends the capital model its traffic system after the system used in Hong Kong, which extends buses and subways in all directions.

Since Beijing is going to host the 2008 Olympic Games, traffic is of great concern to the government.
