First Dalian Beach Culture Festival will be held from July, 24 to Aug. 28 this year with the Golden Seashore of the Golden Pebble Beach as its main meeting place and the city's other sea water bathing places as the assistants.

The activity is sponsored by Dalian municipal government and organized by Dalian Municipal Large Activity Office, Dalian Municipal Tourism Bureau, The Golden Pebble Beach, etc.

The content of the festival includes the opening ceremony & the gala entitled "Enter Greater Dalian & Dalian Beach Culture Festival," Sand Sculpture Contest & the 2nd Family Funny Sand Sculpture Contest, Dalian Seashore & Tourism Estate Expo, International Domino Performance, Vocal Concert of famous pop stars & funs, fire balloon tournament, beach soccer competition, beach culture & beach articles expo and International Seashore Tourism Economy Development Forum. The festival will end up with a new kind of video form of the large domino instead of the traditional evening party as the close ceremony.
