In Thailand, many lucky Thais have become much more knowledgeable about Tibetan culture. This comes as "China Tibet Culture Week" came to a close in the Thai capital city of Bangkok over the weekend.
The Chinese Ambassador to Thailand, Wang Tingai, said the exchange of culture between China and Thailand has not only pushed forward the development of Tibetan culture, but has also enhanced the mutual understanding and friendship between the two countries.
He said the Chinese performances provided an opportunity for the Thai people to understand more about Tibetan culture and traditions. The event was the first of its kind ever held in Thailand.
The Chinese troupe brought 26 programs to the performance. The event also offered local people a panoramic view on Tibet, featuring typical Tibetan singing, dancing, religion and traditional costumes show.
On Sunday night, the delegation gave its last performance in south.
