The Chinese government announced Thursday that it has decided to drop the visa requirement for Singapore and Brunei passport holders for a stay of up to 15 days, effective July 1, 2003.
As of July 1, Singapore and Brunei passport holders will enjoy visa-free access to China for up to 15 days for business, sightseeing or visiting relatives and friends, according to China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The decision was made to support China's economic development and opening-up process and to further boost personnel exchanges between China and the two countries, the ministry said.
