The Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, the largest of its kind in Asia, announced a temporary closure yesterday to prevent the possible spread of SARS.
The closure started yesterday and will last at least through the end of the May Day holiday on May 5, although the exact reopening date has yet to be determined.
The museum promised a full refund for anyone who has booked a 60-yuan (US$7.2) ticket.
People can get a refund at the museum's ticket center on Tuesday and Wednesday this week and next week (April 28, April 29, May 6, May 7) from 9 am to 5 pm.
