Labor Day Tourists Able to Visit Conference Center for Coming Bo'ao Forum
The newly-built international conference center on Dongyu island, the permanent venue of Bo'ao Forum for Asia (BFA), will be open to tourists this May 1 holiday.

The conference center, which was completed last month, consists of a major meeting hall of 3,000 square meters, 20 different meeting rooms accommodating 50-200 people and some break rooms and media centers.

During the Labor Day holiday, tourists to Dongyu island can have a new route including the conference center for the coming BFA.

After arriving at the island by boat, tourists can look around by bus and visit the conference center, which will have an exhibition on the Bo'ao Forum. During their stay on the island, tourists can also fully enjoy the beautiful beach.

The BFA will hold its second annual conference as scheduled on May 18 and 19 in Bo'ao, a resort town in Dongyu island of Hainan province.

The BFA, a non-official international organization focusing on major economic issues, is the first international conference organization to be based in China. More than 1,000 delegates, including former Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji, attended the BFA's first annual conference in Bo'ao in April 2002.
