Showers Before Skies are Clear
Showers and even thunderstorm are likely to hit the city this afternoon following the temporary departure of a high pressure system that brought sunshine over the weekend, meteorologists predicted yesterday.

Today's high is expected to be 20 degrees Celsius, 3 degrees lower than yesterday, while the low could be 13 degrees, 2 degrees higher than yesterday, according to the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau. However, clear skies will return after tomorrow and there will be at least two days of sunshine when the high pressure system returns, meteorologists said. The average temperature this week is likely to hover around 14 to 15 degrees.
