Diaoshuilou Waterfall
Diaoshuilou Waterfall is located at the northern end of Jingpo Lake, and the water flows from here into the fast flowing Mudanjiang River. The waterfall was created by a huge dam built, but now redundant, in one of the narrowest points of the lake. This constriction gives added momentum to the flow of this 40m wide and 20m high spectacles, so that now, in notable contrast to the placid peace of the lake, the waterfall roars with impressive fervor.

In the winter months this waterfall, literally translated as the "Hanging Water Falls", is frozen, but it is the summer months that draw the crowds, adventurous travelers even plunging into the pools below the falls for a cooling swim and the best views of the rainbows that are seen near the spray. Listening to Diaoshuilou Waterfall and Sailing in tranquil Jinpo Lake, you will be intoxicated in such a great environment.

Jingpo Lake is located in Ning'an County, Heilongjiang Province. It was formed when volcanic rocks blocked the Mudanjiang River. Covering about 95 square kilometers, the lake with twists and turns stretches from southwest to northwest, so it is also known as the "hundred li long lake". Jingpo Lake is China's largest checked-up lake in the hilly area. The water is clear and tranquil like a mirror. The ridges and peaks surrounding the lake rise one after another and the whole area is densely wooded with more than 200 kinds of precious animals and plants. In the spillway north of the lake stands the magnificent Diaoshuilou Waterfall with a drop of about 20 meters and a width of more than 40 meters.
