Air China was presented with an ISO900 1:2000 quality system recognition certificate Wednesday by British Standard Institution (BSI) Pacific Limited and the Civil Aviation Heartfelt Quality Certification Company.
The ISO certification is recognition that Air China has made significant progress in introducing advanced management skills and that it is closing the gap with regard to reaching international standards.
Air China spent one and a half years establishing a quality management system to meet aviation transportation demands.
Experts say that the certificate demonstrates that Air China can satisfy the needs of customers and cargo owners as well as abide by laws and regulations.
Air China will provide still safer, faster and more cozy transportation service to passengers, said Gong Guokui, vice-president of Air China.
